Capitan Mountain 34 Hour : Capitan, New Mexico
Capitan Mountain 34 Hour is a multi-event trail running weekend held on a soft, runnable loop near Capitan, New Mexico (coordinates 33.513758, -105.511612). The course consists of a 4 mile loop with a central aid station and headquarters at the loop start/finish. The loop will be run clockwise this year. The event uses chip timing provided by ZEN ARCADE TIMING with live lap counting and split displays.

- Hotfoot Teddy 12 hour event
- Rabbit 6 hour event
Awards include buckles for 100 mile and 80 mile finishes and medals for other distances; a special buckle is noted for sub-24-hour finishers. The event operates a no DNF policy with times recorded at distances of 25K and above. Pacers are permitted during the overnight window midnight to 6:00 AM. Aid stations are fully stocked with traditional ultra snacks, electrolytes, and hot food at night; a food truck serves registered runners. The event is cupless; each participant must carry a reusable or collapsible cup for drinks. Camping is available at Rob Jaggers Campground at the start/finish on a first-come, first-served basis under public land rules, with some RV water hookups reported.
