The competition is held beneath the Sierra Blanca range, providing a high-altitude environment characterized by pine forests and dust. The event marks 30 years of the organization’s history and centers around Grindstone Lake Park and Wingfield Park.
Participants can choose from several competitive and open categories:
- Full Distance Triathlon: Includes a 1.5 km swim, 27 km bike, and 10 km run.
- Sprint Triathlon: Features a 750 m swim, 14 m bike, and 6 km run.
- Super Sprint Triathlon: Consists of a 400 m swim, 7 km bike, and 3 km run.
