Ruby C. Hunt YMCA Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run
The Ruby C. Hunt YMCA Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run is an annual sports event held in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. The race takes place on Thanksgiving morning, providing a community activity before holiday festivities. The event serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting the YMCA We Build People Scholarship Fund. This fund provides financial assistance for individuals to access YMCA programs and services.

The course for the 5K race begins at the LYCC of Gardner-Webb University and continues through the town of Boiling Springs. Participants can also register for a multi-race bundle that includes the Shelby Sprint and the Jingle Bell Rockin' Run in addition to the Turkey Trot.
Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at the Ruby C. Hunt YMCA Library, as well as on the morning of the event at the Gardner-Webb University LYCC.
