The event is scheduled for Saturday, Dec 13, 2025, at Crowders Ridge / Crowders Mountain near Kings Mountain, NC (130 Camp Rotary Rd). Distances offered include:

Course, aid stations and cutoffs

All courses start and finish at the Crowders Ridge Start/Finish Line and use the same trail network. Typical route segments include Tower Trail, Rocktop Trail, Crowders Trail, Pinnacle Trail, Turnback Trail, Fern Trail, Ridgeline Trail and the access to Boulders. Several routes use a turnaround near Boulders Access at about 13.4 miles. The 100 Miler repeats the described loop three times and on the fourth loop turns at the 161 Aid Station to finish, for a total of about 101 miles. The 100K repeats the loop twice and on the third loop turns at Wolf's Den Aid Station to finish, totaling about 67.35 miles. The 50 Miler repeats the loop twice for about 53.79 miles. Marathon and Half Marathon follow the same trail sections with shorter turn points.

Elevation gain by distance: Half Marathon 2,326 ft, Marathon 4,766 ft, 50 Miler 9,538 ft, 100K 11,862 ft, 100 Miler 17,925 ft. Four aid stations on course: Crowders Ridge, Wolf Base, The 161 Aid Station, Boulders Access. Aid station food includes pickles wrapped in bacon, cereal, gummies, salted pretzels, candy, fruit, and some hot options; drinks include Tailwind, water and sodas. Trekking poles are permitted. Pacers are allowed for the 100K and 100 Miler after 50 miles. Time cutoffs: Half Marathon - none; Marathon - 10 hours; 50 Miler - 25 hours; 100K - 25 hours; 100 Miler - 34 hours.
