Beast of the East 100
Beast of the East 100 is a trail race event on December 12, 2026 in Kings Mountain, NC, organized by Dirty Wolf Ultras and held at Crowders Mountain with the Crowders Ridge start/finish area. Registration closes Dec 8, 2026.

Courses follow Crowders Ridge trails, including Tower Trail, Rocktop Trail, Crowders Trail, Pinnacle Trail, Turnback Trail, Fern Trail and Ridgeline Trail. The 100 Mile route repeats the main loop three times then runs a partial fourth loop to a finish; the 100K and 50 Mile routes use the same loop with fewer repetitions. Several summit and ridgeline sections are included and some viewpoints offer lake scenery.

Four aid stations are on course: Crowders Ridge, Wolf Base, The 161 Aid Station and Boulders Access. Aid station food includes pickles wrapped in bacon, cereal, gummies, pretzels, candy, fruit, and some hot items; drinks include Tailwind, water and select sodas. Trekking poles are allowed.
