Royal Port Passage 5K Run/Walk
The Royal Port Passage 5K is a community road race in Snow Hill, Maryland, held on November 21, 2026, with the venue at Sturgis Park, 100 River St. The 3.1 mile course is described as flat and fast, starting and finishing at Sturgis Park and routing through Historic Snow Hill and Byrd Park along the river.
Event services include chip timing using Chronotrack B chips administered by Seashore Strider Event Production, short-sleeved technical shirts guaranteed to registered participants before the Tuesday of race week, and a post-race awards presentation on Green Street at Tides & Vines where after-race refreshments and a gathering are scheduled. Awards are given to Overall and Master Male and Female champions and to the top three finishers in 14 age groups: 9U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Registration options and fees listed by the organizer are: pre-race registration $30 if completed on or before November 15, race-week registration $35 from November 16 to November 20, and race-day registration $40. Mail-in registration must be received by November 11 to be guaranteed event swag and can be sent to Seashore Striders, 9 Gander Lane, Lewes, DE 19969. Proceeds benefit downtown revitalization efforts in Snow Hill; the event is presented by Downtown Snowhill Inc. in cooperation with the Seashore Striders.
