Royal Port Passage 5K Run/Walk
The Royal Port Passage is a community 5K run and walk held in Snow Hill, Maryland on November 21, 2026. The event takes place at Sturgis Park and the course goes through Historic Snow Hill and Byrd Park along the river.
The distance is 5 km (3.1 miles) on a mostly flat course that starts and finishes at Sturgis Park. The event is timed using Chronotrack B chips by Seashore Strider Event Production.
Registration tiers are specified: pre race registration is $30 per participant if completed by November 15, 2026; race week registration is $35 from November 16 through November 20; race day registration is $40. Short sleeved technical shirts are provided to registered participants, guaranteed for those registered before Tuesday of race week.
Awards include overall and master male and female champions, plus the top three finishers in 14 age groups: 9U, 10 to 13, 14 to 19, 20 to 24, 25 to 29, 30 to 34, 35 to 39, 40 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 54, 55 to 59, 60 to 64, 65 to 69, and 70 plus. Post race awards and refreshments are planned downtown on Green Street at Tides & Vines.
Proceeds benefit downtown revitalization efforts in Snow Hill, and the event is presented in cooperation with local downtown organizations and the Seashore Striders. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
