Roundhay 50

Roundhay 50 is a Long Distance Walkers Association challenge event organised by the West Yorkshire local group in Northern England. The event is set as 50 miles with a 22 hour time limit. It starts and finishes at St Andrews Roundhay United Reformed Church on Shaftesbury Avenue in Leeds.

The route comprises two loops around rural north Leeds and visits, among other locations, Temple Newsam, Meanwood Valley and the Harewood Estate. There are two start options, with one option aimed at faster walkers and runners. No early starts are permitted.

Entry fees differ for members and non members; LDWA members pay £35 and non members pay £50. Online entry is available. Maps and large scale digital mapping are provided for the event and rights of way data are referenced from local authorities.

Accommodation options are listed within 20 km and include Otley (approximately 14 km), Baildon (around 17 km) and Burley in Wharfedale (about 18 km). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
