Format and logistics

The event is made up of 11 timed stages. Competitors receive a time for each stage and an overall combined time. Runners start at regular short intervals so there are always other competitors on course. Between timed stages participants may walk or jog. Entrants may compete as individuals or as pairs; pairs must complete all stages together. The organiser gives an estimated completion range of about 1 hour 45 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes.

Entry information includes a minimum age of 15. Entries open 7 September 2025 and close 7 January 2026. Published entry fees are £39.00 for individuals and £36.00 per person for pairs. Entry includes a race number and SI timing dibber, full route and stage information, food stations and medical support on course, a finishers medal, optional designer T-shirt, complimentary race photos on Facebook, and access to the post-race party with Thornbridge beer and food options.
