About the Event

The 18th Annual Rotary Club of Little River 5K is a run/walk event in Little River, South Carolina. The course has very few turns and finishes along the Little River waterfront. It is the first race in the Rotary Crown Series.

Race Details

The event is sanctioned by USATF (certificate SC17032DW). There is one water stop on the course, and strollers, runners, and walkers are welcome. Animals are not allowed on the race course. Post-race snacks and water are available.

Registration and Logistics

Registration is only available online and closes on race day. Packet pickup takes place on the morning of the event at the race start location. Parking is available around the race start, and port-o-potties are located near the start line.

Awards and Participants

Awards for the 5K are based on gun time. Categories include overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and age group awards from 0-10 up to 80 and over. Participants receive a custom-designed shirt, a race bib, and a finisher medal.

Series and Partnerships

The race is part of a two-leg series. Finishers of both the Little River and Conway Rotary 5Ks receive an 18-ounce Yeti Rambler mug. The event partners with several non-profit organizations, including the Grand Strand Running Club, Teen Angels, and the North Strand Housing Shelter.
