PFC. Jacob Hancher "High Speed" 5K
This fourth annual 5K takes place in the Market Common area of Myrtle Beach and honors a member of the Myrtle Beach Police Department who died on 10-3-2020. The event is organized as a family-friendly community run that will raise funds for a future scholarship to be awarded in his name.
The main entry is a timed 5 km race. Every participant receives a finisher medal and custom commemorative swag. A separate youth category is offered for participants aged 12 and under.
Location and on-site gathering: Tidal Creek Brewhouse, 3421 Knoles Street, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. A post-run celebration will be held at Tidal Creek Brewhouse.
Entry fees and categories:
- 5 km timed event, registration fee $45.00.
- 5 km youth category, registration fee $15.00.
