About the race
The Rose Bowl Turkey Trot is the 9th annual timed 3.1 mile event held on Thanksgiving morning around the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. The course runs around the Rose Bowl Loop and the race starts and finishes at the top of Lot K. Each participant receives a race bib and a finishers medal. All entry fees for 2026 are 100% tax deductible and will be directed to the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation (Tax ID: 01-0972999).
Participants will have an opportunity to donate after checkout. For 2026 the event is partnering with the Pasadena Unified School District through the Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response to provide financial support for the impacts of the Eaton Fire. Practical details provided by the organizer include free parking in Lot K, a water station set up halfway around the route, allowance for dogs on leash, and encouragement of strollers with a request that stroller users allow others to pass safely. The event is open to all ages; children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered parent or legal guardian at all times.
Packet pickup is available onsite on race day and an advanced pickup is scheduled on Wednesday, November 25 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Lot K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
