Turkey Shuffle - Fort Worth
The Turkey Shuffle takes place on Sunday 29 November 2026 at Riverside Trailhead in Fort Worth, TX. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and is held on local parks and green belts with mixed surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite and dirt paths.
Event distances and formats:
- Kids Dash : approximately 50 meters for children 10 and under, not timed, includes tee shirt, medal, and recognition pin.
- 1 Mile : not chip timed, includes tee shirt and medal.
- 5K (3.11 miles) : chip timed, includes age group awards and overall trophies.
- 10K (6.22 miles) : chip timed, includes age group awards and overall Bigfoot trophies.
- Volunteer then Run 5K : includes custom chip timed bib, tee, and finisher medal; limited to first 20 sign ups.
- Virtual Run
Additional event details describe a costume contest with a Biggest Turkey trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two future race entries, an HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. Aid stations and water stations are provided on course. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and medal.
