Turkey Shuffle - Fort Worth
The Turkey Shuffle takes place at Riverside Trailhead, 3201 Riverfront Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76107. The event offers multiple running options across park and greenbelt trails that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths. Aid stations are placed on course to provide water and assistance if needed. Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
Distances offered include:
- Kids Dash : approximately 50 meters, for children 10 and under, not timed.
- 1 mile, not chip timed.
- 5K (3.11 miles), chip timed.
- 10K (6.22 miles), chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K option with a chip timed bib.
- Virtual Run 6.22 miles.
All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and a medal. The 5K and 10K feature standard age group awards and overall trophies, with tiered pins and awards across age brackets from 10 and under through 70 plus. The event includes a Thanksgiving-themed costume contest with a trophy and a prize pack that contains a certificate for two future race entries, an HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. Snacks and refreshments are available at the race rally tent.
Volunteer roles are available for course monitors, water stations, packet pickup, finish line assistance, lead bike, mascot, and other positions. Volunteers typically check in 1.5 hours before the event and may earn race shirts, medals, or future race benefits depending on position.
