Race features, awards, course, and volunteers

All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon have standard age-group awards; overall winners receive a trophy and masters winners receive recognition pins. Top three in each age group receive gold, silver, and bronze pins. Courses are mostly paved with some crushed granite and dirt sections. Aid stations are available along the courses. Races proceed in all weather conditions.

Volunteer roles include water stations, course monitors, finish line helpers, sweepers, packet pickup support, floaters, lead bike, and a mascot role. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 Amazon digital gift card.
