Fort Worth Oktoberfest 5K & Fun Run
The Fort Worth Oktoberfest 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on September 26, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is held in conjunction with Fort Worth Oktoberfest and is based at Trinity Park, 2933 Farmhouse Way.
The 5K course follows the Trinity Trail and is described as fairly flat, with approximately 3.1 miles through Trinity Park. Distances offered include:
- 5K timed or untimed
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- Virtual Run with flexible routing and result upload window
Registration includes race apparel and event memorabilia: a super soft short sleeve shirt, custom finisher medal, race bib, and a commemorative Fort Worth Oktoberfest beer stein. Additional included items and event features listed for in-person participants are two beer tickets for those over 21, free race day parking, an after party with a DJ, access to Fort Worth Oktoberfest activities, and several contests such as a costume contest, largest team contest, and stein hoisting. Dressing in lederhosen is recommended.
Packet pickup is scheduled on dates prior to the race at Dallas Running Company locations in Plano and Southlake and at Fort Worth Running Company in Fort Worth, with packet pickup also available at the race venue.
