All participants receive a Fort Worth Oktoberfest Lederhosen race shirt, a custom finisher's medal, and a custom race bib. Each participant also gets a commemorative Oktoberfest beer stein and a free 3-day electronic ticket to the Fort Worth Oktoberfest festival.
Contests and Activities
The event features several contests, including a Costume Contest, a Largest Team Contest, and a Stein Hoisting competition. Dressing in lederhosen is recommended.
Schedule and Awards
Packet pickup opens at 7:00 AM on race day. The 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM. An awards ceremony for overall winners begins at 9:40 AM, with age group awards at 10:00 AM. The Costume Contest is at 10:15 AM and the Stein Hoisting Competition at 10:30 AM. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top overall masters finishers, and the top three in various age groups. Awards must be claimed in person.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is available online. Pricing for the 5K follows a tiered schedule starting from $44.56. Discounts are available for groups of four or more, participants aged 8 and under, and participants aged 65 and older. Packet pickup is available on specified dates before the race at Dallas Running Company locations in Plano and Southlake, and at Fort Worth Running Company.
