Fort Worth Oktoberfest 5K & Fun Run : September 26, 2026, Fort Worth, TX
The event takes place on September 26, 2026 at Trinity Park, 2933 Farmhouse Way, Fort Worth, TX 76107. It runs alongside the Fort Worth Oktoberfest and includes a main 5K course that follows the Trinity Trail. The route is described as fairly flat with scenic views. The event features a Fun Run, race contests (costume contest, largest team contest, stein hoisting), an after party with a DJ, and festival access tied to the Oktoberfest celebration. Participants receive race items including a short sleeve shirt, a custom finisher medal, a bib, a commemorative Oktoberfest beer stein, and a complimentary three-day pass to Fort Worth Oktoberfest. Registration fees follow a tiered schedule with early pricing, launch specials, and later increases. Discounts of $5 apply automatically for youth ages 8 and under, seniors 65 and over, and groups of four or more (group discount does not apply to Fun Run or Virtual Run). Virtual runners can upload results between September 26, 2026 and December 31, 2026; virtual packets ship beginning the week of September 28, 2026.
Packet pickup occurs at local running stores in Plano, Southlake, and Fort Worth in the days before the event, plus pickup at the race venue on race day.
Awards
Awards are given 1st-3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three in multiple age groups. Awards must be claimed in person; they will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
