Fort Worth Oktoberfest: 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Fort Worth Oktoberfest is a community running event held in Fort Worth, TX on September 26, 2026. The event offers a timed or untimed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The event includes a virtual race option with virtual run swag. On-site activities and contests are part of the event program, including a costume contest, a largest team contest, and a stein hoisting competition.
Awards are presented for overall placings and age groups, with 1st through 3rd overall male and female awards, a masters overall award, and top three placings across standard age categories through age 80 plus. Packet pickup is scheduled on several days in the week before the event at local running stores in Plano, Southlake, and Fort Worth; race day packet pickup is at the venue in Trinity Park.
