The Wiener Run 5K & 10K - Dallas
The Wiener Run takes place at Bachman Lake Park, 3500 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220. The event offers multiple in-person and virtual race options and includes on-site amenities and awards.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile fun run, not chip-timed
- 5K (3.11 miles), chip-timed with awards
- 10K (6.22 miles), chip-timed with awards
- Volunteer then Run 5K, volunteer role plus chip-timed entry
- Virtual Run, 13.1 miles
Finish-line provisions include a free hot dog and beverage for every runner, finishers shirts and medals, live music from a DJ, and aid stations on course. The 5K and 10K feature age-group awards and overall trophies; masters recognition is given for 40 and older. Age groups include 10 & under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 plus.
Volunteer roles include water stations, course monitors, finish-line helpers, sweepers, packet pickup, lead bike, and mascot duties. Volunteer Then Run participants receive a chip-timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal and the role is limited to the first five volunteers. The course surface is a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths. The event proceeds rain or shine. Shirt guarantee applies if requested at least 10 days before race day.
