Rodeo Stampede - Dallas
The Rodeo Stampede is scheduled for March 8, 2026 at Fair Oaks Park in Dallas, TX. The event program includes multiple timed and untimed races held on park and greenbelt routes. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on the course and snacks and refreshments will be available at the race rally tent.
The event provides finisher items and awards. All finishers receive a shirt and a medal; the medal for on-site finishers is described as a belt buckle style. Chip timing is used for several distances and overall trophies are awarded to the fastest male and female in each timed event. Standard age-group awards and masters recognition pins are provided for the 5K, quarter marathon and half marathon.
Additional onsite activities include a cowboy costume contest decided by crowd reaction, music from a DJ and appearances by the Bigfoot mascot for photos. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the race start. A volunteer then run option and a range of volunteer roles are listed; full race volunteers earn a race shirt and a choice of a future race entry or a prepaid digital gift card. Shirt availability is guaranteed up to 10 days before the event.
