ROCtoberfest 5K presented by Strangebird

ROCtoberfest 5K : October 10, 2026

ROCtoberfest 5K is a community event held at Genesee Valley Park in Rochester, combining a timed 5K run/walk with a festival atmosphere and fundraising for local charities. The event is presented by Strangebird Brewing and includes on-site post-race activities.

In-person registration includes:

• Live 5K race with professional timing
• Event bib
• Short-sleeve cotton t-shirt guaranteed by September 20, 2026 (color subject to change)
• Custom finisher medal (new for this year)
• Strangebird beer sampling for participants 21 and over - ID required
• Post-race cookout and online results

Charity and fundraising details:

• Organizations may become charity partners; partners must be a 501c3 and complete financial setup on RunSignUp for direct payment
• Charity partners must submit a logo and description
• 100% of donations are paid directly to the listed charity via the platform
• Organizations that raise $1,000 or more may have a tent at the race site

Packet pickup is available the day before at the Armory (155 Culver Road) and on race day near the cricket fields at Genesee Valley Park. Course maps and parking information are provided for the park. The event notice states that date, location, or format may be changed or moved to virtual if necessary; in such cases refunds, transfers, or deferrals are not guaranteed.
