The Steven Derks Memorial 5K is a road race held in Rochester, New York. The event takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Course & Location
The race start and finish are on Monroe Community College (MCC) campus roads. The course is USATF certified (NY22018DNP). All parking, registration, and post-race activities are located at Faith Bible Church at 1095 E. Henrietta Rd. Parking is not permitted at the MCC campus.
Registration & Fees
The registration fee is $25 until September 25, 2026, increasing to $30 on race day. An online processing fee also applies.
Awards & Perks
The event offers cash prizes for the top three overall male and female finishers: $150 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded in multiple age groups for both men and women, ranging from 0-9 to 80 and over. Participants who register by September 1 are guaranteed their size for a race t-shirt or Cool-Max socks.
Schedule & Logistics
Packet pickup is available on Friday, September 25 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Faith Bible Church, or on race day from 7:00 AM to 7:50 AM at the same location.
