About the race
The Rocky Point Fire Department 2nd Annual Memorial 5K is scheduled for June 6, 2027 in Rocky Point, New York. The event base is the King Road Fire House at 90 King Rd., Rocky Point, NY 11778. Registration is not yet open; notifications are available when registration becomes available.
The course starts at the firehouse and follows an eastbound trail along King Road. Runners cross Broadway and two other intersections, reach a turnaround at the halfway point, and return to finish at the firehouse.
Event amenities listed for the prior edition include live, text, and email results, free finish line photos, participant tee-shirts, and a personalized bib for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Top three male and top three female overall finishers receive online recognition only.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event. A bib number is required for pickup; participants may use self lookup or bib lookup tools if needed. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours of the event received their bib number by text, typically within 90 seconds.
