Rocktoberfest 10K & 5K : Rock Hill, SC
Rocktoberfest is a multi-race event at Winthrop Lake and the Winthrop Coliseum area in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The event program includes in-person and virtual options and a relay category.

Both in-person races use a looped course around Winthrop Lake that passes Winthrop’s campus, the golf course, and the university disc golf course. The 5K completes one loop and the 10K completes two loops. The course has multiple spectator viewing points and provides smooth running surfaces.
Participants receive a short-sleeve tech shirt if registered by September 20 and a finisher medal. Timing is provided for all 10K and 5K entrants with disposable timing tags issued at packet pickup. Pace groups from the Charlotte Running Club are present with a range of target finish times.
On-site services include one water stop for the 5K and two for the 10K, restrooms near the start/finish area, and a finish festival with vendors, packaged food, and live rock music at the start/finish area. An Octoberfest beer garden offers beer (ID required) and a beer garden ticket is included with entry. Dogs and strollers are not permitted. Registration is capped for 2026 and race-day registration is not available. Refunds and transfers are not offered; registrants may not change individuals or years.
