Rocktoberfest Half Marathon & 5K - Rock Hill, South Carolina
Rocktoberfest is a running event held in the Riverwalk area of Rock Hill. The event includes live rock music near the start and finish and an Octoberfest beer garden at the finish festival. The race begins and ends at the Rock Hill Criterium Course and follows neighborhood streets and greenway trails along the river.

The course runs through the Riverwalk neighborhood and onto the Piedmont Medical Center Trail. A short 400 meter gravel section appears after mile 6 before returning to paved greenway. Per city requirements, runners are asked to use bike paths and sidewalks in the Riverwalk area where roads are not closed. The course will be marked.
Support and services include paced groups led by the Charlotte Running Club pace team, electronic timing provided by Start 2 Finish, packet pickup at Charlotte Running Company, participant tech shirts for early registrants, finisher medals, and water and portable restrooms along the route. Water stops are placed roughly every two miles and a water bottle is provided at the finish.
Rules and logistics noted by the organizer include strict time limits (3 hours for the half marathon, 1 hour for the 5K), no dogs or strollers, nonrefundable registration fees, and an awards ceremony where top finishers and division winners receive awards.
