Course, timing and race services
The course starts and finishes at the Rock Hill Criterium Course and runs through the Riverwalk neighborhood and the Piedmont Medical Center Trail along the river. There is a short 400 meter gravel section after mile 6; the remainder uses paved greenway, bike paths and sidewalks. The course will be marked and city streets will not be closed for the neighborhood sections. Timing is provided by a race timing partner and all half marathon and 5K participants receive a disposable timing tag at packet pick up. Pace groups are offered with target times from 1:35 to 3:00. Water stations and portable restrooms are placed along the route; water stops are listed near miles 2.75, 5.25, 6.7, 8.27, 10.7 and 12. Dogs and strollers are not allowed.
