Event overview

The Rockaway Beach Triathlon/Duathlon takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater, B95th Street, Queens, NY 11693. Course and distances

The race uses the Atlantic Ocean for the swim and the Rockaway boardwalk for the bike and run segments. The swim is open water and may experience big waves and strong currents; wetsuits are optional. The bike course runs on the boardwalk from B95th Street to B27th Street and back, ridden as two loops for a total of 12 miles. The boardwalk surface is described as flat and smooth, with often windy conditions on the return from B27th Street. The transition area is located by the B95th Street Amphitheater.
