The event takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater, B95th Street, Queens, NY 11693. The program includes multiple entry types: Triathlon, Duathlon, Team Relay Triathlon, Team Relay Duathlon, Aquabike, and a Volunteer 1 for 1 option. The individual Triathlon and Duathlon events are open to ages 18 and older. Registration fees vary by event and increase after March 31, 2026.
Course and distances
The swim takes place in open Atlantic water. Wetsuits are optional. The swim can have big waves and strong currents. The bike and run portions use the Rockaway boardwalk and nearby streets. The bike course follows the boardwalk between B95th Street and B27th Street and is completed as two loops totaling 12 miles. The boardwalk surface is described as smooth and flat; wind can affect the return leg. The run segment for both triathlon and duathlon uses the boardwalk with a turnaround near B125th Street. Duathletes start with a run and use a turnaround at B115th Street where a water and aid station will be located.

Volunteers are needed (reporting and sign-out are required to receive race credit). The race is not USAT certified or sanctioned; a USAT racing license is not required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
