Run Rockaway Beach Spring Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K
The Run Rockaway Beach Spring Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K is an athletic event organized by the Rockaway Track Club. Taking place at Rockaway Beach, New York, the event utilizes the boardwalk area with activities centered around the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater at Beach 94th Street. All courses offered during this event are USATF certified.
The event features three distinct distances to accommodate different preferences:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The course layout varies by distance. The marathon consists of four loops, while the half marathon is completed in two loops starting from Beach 94th Street. The 5K is designed as an out and back course. For those participating in the half marathon, there are at least four water stops located along each of the two loops to provide hydration.
Registration is open to individual age group and open categories for all distances. Participants can check in for bib tags and T-shirts at the Beach 94th Street Amphitheater.
