Run Lantana 5K & 10K
Run Lantana is a chip-timed community event held in Argyle, Texas, starting and finishing at Blanton Elementary School. Participants follow a route that includes the rolling hills and the hike and bike trail system within the Lantana community. The course also passes through several surrounding neighborhoods and local school grounds.
The event offers two main race distances:
- 5 km (3.1 miles)
- 10 km (6.2 miles)
This is a family-oriented event that accepts runners and walkers of all ages. However, pets are not permitted on the course. Participants who register by September 4, 2026, are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Race packets can be collected at the Lantana Visitor Center in the days leading up to the event.
Awards are presented to the Overall Male and Female finishers and the Overall Masters Male and Female finishers. Cash prizes of $150 are available for these top categories. Age group awards are also distributed across multiple divisions, ranging from children aged 9 and under to seniors aged 70 and over. Specific registration fees apply for adults and children, with price increases scheduled for late August and on the day of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
