Rock Creek 5K & 10K
Bishops Events stages a timed 5 km and 10 km event through Rock Creek Park. Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series, and also toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person.

The course is paved and mostly flat with one considerable hill. Water stations are placed along each course: two stations on the 5 km course and five stations on the 10 km course at approximate mile markers 0.6, 2.5, 3.1, 3.7, and 5.6; Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located across from the Tennis Center. Parking is available at the Rock Creek Park Tennis Center, 5220 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20011.
Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before March 10; extras are provided after that date on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event; there is no on-site race registration.
Live results are posted on Athlinks during the race, with a QR code at the event for instant access. Final results with series points are posted the Monday after the race.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, plus first and second place male and female in standard age groups. The race benefits We Rock Cancer. The Back of the Pack time listed is 11:30; the Back of the Pack is a separate series for participants who average slower paces. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
