Rock Chalk Run: 10K, 5K and 1K Fun Run/Walk
The Rock Chalk Run is a community running event held in Overland Park, Kansas at 12604 Quivira. It offers multiple course distances and on-course and event amenities listed by the organizer. The event supports scholarship fundraising for students at the KU Edwards Campus.

The 10K and 5K include 1st place awards in male and female age categories. The 1K participants receive a participation medal and a commemorative KU t-shirt. The event features a Family Fun Zone with activities for all ages, interactive sponsor booths, and a selection of food trucks. A KU Bookstore pop-up will be present at the event.
Registration opens March 2, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. Posted registration fees are $45.00 for the 10K, $25.00 for the 5K, and $15.00 for the 1K.
