Rock Chalk Run: 10K, 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk

The Rock Chalk Run is scheduled for October 4, 2026 at KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park, KS (12604 Quivira, 66213). The event includes multiple distance options and raises scholarship money for KU Edwards Campus students.

The organizer lists a family area and on-site activities: a Family Fun Zone, interactive sponsor booths, a KU Bookstore pop‑up, and a lineup of food trucks. The 2025 edition had over 450 participants, and the 2026 program notes new trails for the 10K route. Event apparel will include shirts from an Adidas partnership; shirts were guaranteed for registrations completed before August 3, 2026, and additional shirts may be available in limited sizes.

A group registration discount is offered when signing up three or more people; that discount reduces the per-registration fee by three dollars. Posted entry fees are $50 for the 10K (youth price $45), $30 for the 5K (youth price $26), and $18 for the 1K Family Fun Run/Walk. Prices may increase after August 23, 2026.
