Rock Chalk Run: 10K, 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk
Rock Chalk Run takes place on October 4, 2026 at KU Edwards Campus in Overland Park, KS 66213. The event offers race distances on campus grounds and nearby trails.
Participants can choose from the following distances:

- 1K Family Fun Run/Walk
The event aims to raise scholarship money for KU Edwards Campus students. Organizers plan new trails for the 10K course and a Family Fun Zone with activities for children and adults. Sponsor booths will be present and may include giveaways. A lineup of food trucks will provide a variety of food options on site, and a KU Bookstore pop-up shop will offer merchandise.
Registration policies and benefits noted by the organizer include a group discount of $3 off per registration when registering three or more people together, and a guarantee of shirts and medals for those who register before Aug. 3. Extra shirts may be available on event day but not all sizes can be guaranteed. The organizer also lists a partnership with Adidas for event shirts.
