About the race
NYE Rock Around the Clock is a Trailsplus trail running event held in the You Yangs at Little River, Victoria. The course sits on top of a mountain and offers views of fireworks from Melbourne, the Geelong waterfront and the Bellarine Peninsula. The event is part of a series that introduces runners to night running and includes a supported 5 km loop run under headtorch.
Shorter distances are completed before sunset while the longer events continue into the night. Trailsplus provides coffee on site and encourages participants to bring picnic rugs, chairs and food for an evening on the hill. The event publishes course maps and car parking instructions as downloadable PDFs, including a main 5 km loop and lap maps for the longer distances.

Trailsplus confirms on day registration is available at higher prices and uses Humanitix for ticketing. The organiser donates $1 per participant to Canteen; overall donations from Trailsplus have surpassed $80,000.
