Robles Run 4 Change 5K
The Robles Run 4 Change 5K is an inaugural, timed 5K race through the Town Creek neighborhood in Lexington Park, Maryland. The course is primarily an out-and-back with a few rolling hills and begins adjacent to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church at 23075 Town Creek Drive. Entrants may run or walk.
Course marshals will monitor the route and water, Gatorade, and snacks will be available at the start and finish area. Awards are given for first, second, and third place, male and female, in both the Adult Open division and the Youth division for ages 12 and under.
Advance registration is available online, and there is in-person packet pick-up on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Cornerstone Church. Day of registration is in-person only with packet pick-up starting at 8:00 AM.
The event raises awareness and funds for teenage girls aging out of orphanages in Guatemala. The organizing group, Robles de Justicia, is a Guatemalan nonprofit that works to equip vulnerable teenagers leaving the orphanage system to become financially independent and emotionally healthy leaders in their communities.
