Robles Run 4 Change 5K
The event is a timed, family-friendly 5K run and walk through the Town Creek neighborhood in Lexington Park, Maryland. The course is primarily an out and back route with a few rolling hills and begins adjacent to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. Entrants may run or walk and course marshals will be present. Water, Gatorade and snacks will be available at the start and finish area.
Advance registration is available online and there is in-person packet pickup on Friday, June 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church (23075 Town Creek Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653). Day-of registration and packet pickup are offered the morning of the event; day-of registration opens at 8:00 am and closes at 8:45 am. The stated registration fee is $25.00.
Results are timed and awards will be given for first, second and third places for male and female in both the Adult Open division and the Youth division for ages 12 and under.
The event supports the mission of Robles de Justicia, a Guatemalan nonprofit that works with teenagers aging out of orphanage care to help them gain financial independence and emotional health.
