RoadRunner RoadRace 5k
The RoadRunner RoadRace is a community 5k event held on February 27, 2027, at Orange City Elementary School, 401 N. Leavitt Ave., Orange City, FL 32763. The event serves as a family engagement activity and fundraiser to support the school PTA and its student and family programs.
The advertised distance is 5k (3.1 miles) and the race is professionally chip timed. A disposable timing chip will be attached to the back of the race bib. Registration information provided includes an opening date of September 9, 2026 and a listed registration fee of $25. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Orange City Elementary Parent Loop. Race day packet pickup is available at the race site.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers plus the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups include 7 and under, 8-10, 11-14, 15-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85 and over. All finishers receive a finisher medal.
Each registered runner receives an event logo T-shirt; sizes are not guaranteed for registrations received after February 15. Additional fee levels and a student rate are listed by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
