Event Overview
The Gobbler 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at DeBary is a road running event held at Gemini Springs Park in Florida. Organized by US Road Running, the event features 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The races take place on a concrete course within the park, starting and finishing at the O.K. Corral shelter.
The event follows an out-and-back format for all participants. The 5K course consists of a single out-and-back loop. Runners in the 10K complete the same loop twice. The Half Marathon utilizes a slightly different out-and-back loop, which participants must complete four times to finish the distance. All race distances are subject to a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- 5K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed once.
- 10K: A 3.11-mile out-and-back course completed twice.
- Half Marathon: A 3.28-mile out-and-back course completed four times.
Registration must be completed online in advance through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup and bib collection are available at the O.K. Corral shelter shortly before the start.
Facilities and Parking
Participants can enter Gemini Springs Park via Dirksen Drive. Primary parking is located in the West Parking loop, with overflow parking available in the East Parking area. Restrooms are accessible near the playground, situated on the opposite side of the West Parking area from the O.K. Corral shelter.
