Roadford Lake Reservoir Run 2026
The Roadford Lake Reservoir Run is an outdoor sports event held at Roadford Lake in Broadwoodwidger, located near Lifton. This event serves as a fundraiser in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance. Participants navigate courses set around the reservoir area, with the event utilizing the ST App Service for timing instead of traditional chip timing.
There are three distinct distances available to participants:
- 2.5 km (minimum age 5)
- 5 km (minimum age 8)
- 10 km (minimum age 15)
Safety regulations require that all participants under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the run. Upon completion of their respective distances, every runner receives a commemorative medal and a goodie bag. Specific awards are designated for the top three finishers in the 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km categories.
