Beer Blazer 10 Mile, 6M & Fun Run - Beer, East Devon
The Beer Blazer is a not-for-profit running event on 17 May 2026 organised by members of the Beer Primary School PTFA to raise funds for the school. Entries open 11 December 2025 and close 10 May 2026. Entry fees are: 10 Mile £22, 6 Mile £17, Fun Run £5, with a £2 discount for affiliated athletes.
The event uses new routes for 2026 to avoid rocky fields at the start. The race starts in fields above Pecorama and finishes at Beer Primary School. The terrain is multi-surface and coastal, including fields, tracks, cliff tops, open common, the pebble beach between Branscombe and Beer Head, the Undercliffs and the stairway to heaven, with views of the Jurassic Coast. The 10 Mile route includes over 1600 ft of elevation. The 6 Mile covers much of the same terrain with less distance and vertical gain.
There is a cut-off at the 2 mile water station at the Sea Shanty cafe; runners who miss this cut-off will be directed back along the beach to follow the 6 Mile route. On the day there will be a BBQ and refreshments at the primary school and Race HQ is at the bottom of the car park. Prizes are awarded for top finishers and teams.
