East Devon Round 2026
East Devon Round 2026 is a trail running festival centred at Offwell Village Hall near Honiton. The event takes place from 1st to 3rd May 2026 over the first bank holiday weekend in May and runs under UK Athletics rules with a Trail Running Association licence number 7838.
Distances offered include:
- 110 km full East Devon Round
- 60 km East Devon Half Round
- 50 km The Other Half
- 25 km EDR Quarter
Routes pass through multiple protected landscapes and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, with varied terrain and substantial climb on the longer courses. The full round is listed at about 68 miles and 10,815 feet of elevation and includes nine aid stations. The half round and other shorter routes include fewer aid stations and lower elevation totals. The full route is an UTMB Index race. Geo Tracks GPS tracking is used for live tracking on most courses and trackers are fitted at registration for applicable routes.
Facilities at event HQ include camping on the playing pitch, showers and village hall amenities. Camping costs are £10 per tent for the weekend and a weekend meal ticket is available for £25. Registration includes a kit check and tracker fitting. Mandatory kit requirements are specified by the organisers and include items such as a waterproof jacket, emergency tinfoil blanket and whistle, headtorch with spare batteries, a charged mobile phone, sufficient water and nutrition, a GPX route and a GPS tracker where provided.
