Event

The East Devon Round 2026 is a trail running festival held in Offwell, near Honiton, on the first bank holiday weekend in May. Event HQ and camping are at Offwell Village Hall (EX14 9SE); HQ opens Friday 1 May and closes midday Sunday 3 May. The festival includes a Friday evening community story and meal, race day on Saturday 2 May, and a Big Breakfast with a mini round on Sunday 3 May. The full event is an UTMB Index race and will be held under UK Athletics rules with Trail Running Association licence number 7838. Courses are GPS tracked using Geo Tracks.

  • East Devon Half: approx 38 miles, 5,968 ft elevation, 5 aid stations.
  • The Other Half: approx 31 miles, 4,598 ft elevation, 5 aid stations, invitation only.
  • EDR QTR: approx 15 miles, 2,018 ft elevation, 2 aid stations.

Routes pass through two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. All courses are marked and GPS tracks (GPX) are provided; participants are expected to be able to self-navigate. Age-to-distance guidance follows England Athletics and Trail Runners Association recommendations. The East Devon Mini Round and Big Breakfast on Sunday include on-the-day entry with donations to charity. Early bird entry offers and specific ticket prices apply for 2026.
