Roadford Lake Trail Races
Roadford Lake Trail Races are scheduled for 16 May 2026 at Roadford Lake, Broadwoodwidger, Lifton. The event uses the local trail network and is run in a different direction to the autumn race, so it shares many of the same paths but follows an altered route.
The event offers multiple distance options on marked and marshalled trails. Distances and formats include:
- Half marathon: two laps of the longer course.
- Long lap about 10 to 10.5 km.
- Short lap 5 km.
- 1 km and 2 km kids races for ages 3 to 11.
Children younger than 12 may take part in the 5 km but must run with an adult. For the kids races, adults may run with children at no additional charge. Some race categories include canicross options.
Race entry includes electronic chip timing, a fully marked and marshalled course, a feed station, a custom finisher medal, finish line beer and snacks, free number transfer if unable to run, and category prizes with podiums. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
