Road Race for Education (September 7, 2026)
The Road Race for Education is an annual community running event presented by Principle Intelligence and held in the East Atlanta/Decatur area. The event in 2026 marks the race's 45th year and is based at 2901 Clifton Springs Rd, Decatur, GA 30034. It promotes support for local education and brings together East Lake and East Atlanta neighbors.
Events offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 5K Senior Walk (open to ages 65 and older)
- Kids Fun Run (open to ages 17 and under)
- Virtual Run (virtual 5K option)
The in-person 5K is chipped timed and listed as a USATF certified course; it is described as a Peachtree qualifier. In-person registration notes include a participant shirt (while supplies last) and a participant medal. Virtual registration includes a participant shirt but packet shipping is not included; virtual entries have access to virtual results reporting.
All registrations are transferable but non-refundable. Participant packets for in-person entries must be picked up at the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam on August 29, 2026. The deadline to convert an in-person registration to the virtual format is August 22, 2026.
