River Hawk Races
The River Hawk Races is a running event organized by the Mount Holly Community Development Foundation. It takes place in Mount Holly, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The event features three race distances:
- Tailrace 10K starting at 9:00 AM.
- Greenway 5K starting at 9:15 AM.
- Kid Tadpole Dash starting at 10:15 AM.
The event is described as a reimagined version of a local 5K/10K, inspired by the Catawba River. The course is said to flow along Mount Holly's greenway near the river.
Awards are given to the top three overall female and male participants, and to the top three in each age division. Divisions range from 14 and under to 70 and over.
