About the race
Rise & Run with The Westin London City is a monthly social morning run that starts and finishes at The Westin London City, 60 High Timber Street, London EC4V 3EJ. The event offers a 5 km circular road route along the River Thames.
The route follows a city-centre loop and passes Tower Bridge, Borough Market, the Millennium Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral. The course is described as flat and is held on roads. The run is free and open to all abilities. Leadership is provided by the hotel runConcierge or a running expert, and participants are offered a social post-run refreshment and snacks at the hotel.
The event is scheduled on the first Thursday of each month. Organisers note that bags drop is available and that participants must be 18 or over. Public transport options close to the hotel include Mansion House, Cannon Street and Bank tube stations.
