Event Overview
The Rise & Run 5K is scheduled for New Year's Day, January 1, 2027. It is described as a team-oriented celebration on a flat, road course at Tom Bennett Park in Bradenton, Florida. The event is the fourth annual edition.

Event Details
The race features chip timing provided by Beach Bum Timing. Participants receive a unique "Why I Rise" themed finisher medal. Awards are given for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as for the top two in specific age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. There is also a prize for the team with the largest participation.
Other features include a selfie wall for photos, music, giveaways, and a family-friendly atmosphere. The event is open to runners, walkers, and those with strollers.
Registration and Logistics
In-person registration opens on February 1, 2026. Race day registration is available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM and requires a phone to scan a QR code; only credit card or Apple Pay are accepted, with no cash payments.
Packet pickup is offered on several days prior to the event at locations in Sarasota, as well as on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
