Event
Rise & Run 5K takes place on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Tom Bennett Park, 400 Cypress Creek Blvd, Bradenton, FL 34221. The event is in its third year and includes a finisher medal. The course is described as a flat, fast road race. Chip timing will be provided by Beach Bum Timing. Awards are planned for the top three male and top three female finishers and for the top two finishers in each age group: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Sponsors listed include Run With Purpose Nutrition and New Balance Sarasota / New Balance University.

Logistics
The listed entry price is $40. Price increases after December 21, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. A shirt upgrade to a long sleeve 1/4 zip is offered for $30; shirt brand and color may vary. Packet pickup is scheduled as follows: Dec 29 at New Balance, 315 N Cattlemen Rd, Sarasota, 4:00pm to 7:00pm; Dec 30 at Run With Purpose Nutrition, 8319 Lockwood Ridge Rd, Sarasota, during business hours 7:00am to 4:00pm; Dec 31 at Run With Purpose Nutrition, 7:00am to Noon. Race day packet pickup is 6:30am to 7:30am. Race day registration is 6:30am to 7:30am and requires a phone to scan a QR code; payment by credit card or Apple Pay only, no cash.
