Event details
The Rio Del Lago Endurance Runs take place November 7-8, 2026 at Beals Point Recreation Area in Granite Bay, California. The event includes two distances:
- 100 mile
- 50K
The 2026 edition marks the 25th running of the Rio 100 Mile Endurance Run and the 5th running of the Rio 50K Endurance Run.
Course and on-course services
The Rio 100 starts in Folsom, travels to Auburn and returns to the start area. The Rio 50K begins alongside the 100 mile field at Beals Point and follows the early miles of that course, with sections along Folsom Lake, Lake Natoma, and the Johnny Cash Trail. The event provides on-course GU Energy gels and Skratch hydration and uses B-Tag chip timing. Food services listed for the event include Bob and Brandt's Breakfast Bistro and Chef Tim’s “Soup for the Soul.” A Dust Bowl beer garden is noted for the event site.
