Race Details
The Ridge to Blazing Ridge Trail Race is the fifth event in the Southeastern Trail Series. It offers distances of 10 miles and 20 miles. The event starts at the Redbud Pavilion next to the BMX Track on Tranquility Road in Oak Mountain State Park, near Pelham, Alabama.
Course Information
The course is described as difficult and is expected to be hot. Participants must carry at least 15 to 20 ounces of water or similar hydration at the start; otherwise, they will not be allowed to run. There are two aid stations on the mountain and a water-only stop.
Participant Information
All runners registered by July 26th will receive a custom-made, fully sublimated race shirt. Packet pickup is available on Friday at the Mountain High Outfitters store in Pelham and on Saturday morning at the race start. There is a $5 per person entry fee for Oak Mountain State Park.
