Rick O'Donnell Memorial 5 Mile Trail Run and Ultra Challenge
The Rick O'Donnell Memorial 5 Mile Trail Run and Ultra Challenge is an annual trail running event held in Mount Airy, Maryland, at Milkhouse Brewery at Stillpoint Farm, 8253 Dollyhyde Rd. The event is organized by the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club and is presented as part of the club's signature races. The race honors the memory of longtime club members and contributors and includes volunteer support from a local crew.

Organization and community support
Net proceeds from the event benefit the Frederick Steeplechasers Memorial Scholarship Fund. The race raised over $5,000 for the scholarship fund in 2024. Scholarships are awarded in the spring to high school seniors. Since 2016 the Frederick Steeplechasers have awarded more than $60,000 in scholarships to 36 recipients. The club has supported runners and hosted races in the Frederick community since 1975 and donates proceeds from its Signature Races to local charitable causes.
