Montgomery Village Jack-O-Lantern 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run
The Montgomery Village Foundation stages the Montgomery Village Jack-O-Lantern 5K and 1 mile Fun Run on October 10, 2026, at Lake Marion Community Center, 8821 East Village Avenue, Montgomery Village, Maryland.

The 5K and the kids' fun run each have resident and general registration categories with different fees. Registration opens July 30, 2026, and closes October 9, 2026. Fees are listed for each category: 5K residents $35.00, 5K general $40.00, kids fun run residents $15.00, and kids fun run general $18.00. Online registration remains open through race start, and late registration is available online on race day. Prices increase on race day.
All participants receive custom medals. Ribbon sliders will be awarded to the top three females and top three males in each age group and to costume winners. Professional chip timing is provided for the 5K by the Montgomery Road Runners Club. A free race shirt is available for the first 150 registrants. Packet pickup and late registration take place on race day. A costume contest is included; wearing a costume is optional. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
