PHOENIX Fridays - Run for a Tenner Friday - August
The event is a Friday timed running event held on Friday 07 August 2026 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey. It is promoted as a "Run for a Tenner" with a £10 entry that is donated to the Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity.
The format uses a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) out and back lap along the River Thames towpath. The surface is off road trail on a riverside towpath and the overall course has no elevation gain or loss. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they wish within the event time limit, and the minimum distance is one lap.
