Event overview
The Rhino Run is a six-hour timed running event organised by Circuit Running Events Ltd. The event format allows competitors to complete distances from a 5k up to an ultra marathon within the six-hour time limit. Maximum field size is 100 entrants and the minimum entry age is 18 years. Entries close on 02/01/2026. Entry fees listed are £33 (affiliated) and £35 (non-affiliated).

Course and logistics
The course is a 4.37-mile lap along an old railway line on a tarmac path. It is an out-and-back, lap-based route with no navigation required. Runners may begin their final lap up to six hours after the race start. A table at the end of each lap will provide water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Finishers receive a bespoke rhino-themed medal and a goody bag.
Facilities and rules: toilets and changing facilities will be available at nearby facilities. Parking is limited on Poorhouse Lane with additional parking on Preston Road; parking restrictions apply and nearby business car parks should not be used. The event is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules, which set maximum permitted distances by age. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
