Spring Run : Hull
Spring Run is a six hour timed challenge held at Poorhouse Lane, Hull. The event uses a 4.37 mile lap on a predominantly tarmac path along an old railway line with a short section of trail. The course is out and back and requires no navigation.
The event allows runners to complete distances from 5k up to ultra marathon within the six hour time limit. An aid table is provided at the end of each lap offering water, squash, fizzy drinks and a selection of foods such as sweets, biscuits and grapes. Toilets are available at a local leisure facility. Parking is available on Preston Road in the marked bays near Poorhouse Lane; parking in local business car parks and on Poorhouse Lane is restricted.
Finishers receive a bespoke medal and a five piece goody bag. The event is licensed by the TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Maximum entries are capped at 60 and the minimum entry age is 12 years. Entries close 03/04/2026. Runners may start their final lap up until 5:59:59 into the event.

Maximum permitted distances by age are: 12-13 years 5,000m; 14-15 years 6,000m; 16 years 10,000m; 17 years 25,000m; 18-19 years 45,000m; 20 years and over no maximum. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
