The Woldsman
The Woldsman is a weekend long walking and running event based at Driffield Showground in East Yorkshire. It offers two waymarked route options across the Yorkshire Wolds.

The 50 mile route must be completed within 20 hours and there is a midpoint cutoff at 25 miles (Thixendale). The event is organised by LDWA - East Yorkshire. Entries open and close on defined dates and the listed entry fee is £30. The minimum age to enter is 18. The event currently shows a full entry list with a waiting list in operation.
Facilities at the showground include free car parking and camping spaces available from Friday through Sunday. Food and drink are provided at all checkpoints and finishers receive a badge, a certificate and a meal. Retirements must be made at checkpoints only. Participants are required to carry minimum kit including an Ordnance Survey map (Explorer 294, 295 or 300), compass, waterproofs, first aid kit, survival bag, a mug, and extra warm clothing. Withdrawals made before the stated refund deadline are eligible for a fee refund; after that date the entry fee will be forfeited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
