Relay for Life of Posey County 5K
The event takes place on August 15, 2026 at Murphy Park in New Harmony, Indiana. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
The course runs through New Harmony. A good portion of the route is shaded. A section along the river follows a gravel surface.
Distances offered:
- 3.1 miles 5K Run/Walk and 5K Walk
- 75 yards Kids' Dash with shirt
- 75 yards Kids' Dash without shirt
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the following age categories: ages 1 to 13, 14 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and older. Additional awards recognize the top male and female runner and the top male and female walker.
Registration fees note a early rate and a later rate for adults: before August 1 the fee is $25 and includes a shirt; after August 1 the fee is $30 and includes a shirt while supplies last. Kids' Dash registration options include a higher fee that includes a shirt and a lower fee without a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
