Candy Corn 5K
The Candy Corn 5K is a charity running event held in October 2026 in Carmi, Illinois. All proceeds benefit the Guardian Center, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on the protection and healing of physically and sexually abused children and their families.
The course begins and ends at First Christian Church, 504 Bohleber Drive, and the event field includes an awards ceremony and a hospitality tent at the same location. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group immediately following the race.
Entry fee for the event is $30. Registration opens July 20, 2026 and closes October 8, 2026, and is available via a paper entry form or an online entry form. T-shirts are guaranteed for early paid entries by September 19. Parking is available in the church parking lot.
