Run to River Days 5K Run/Walk
The Run to River Days events take place on September 12, 2026, in Mount Vernon as part of the Mt. Vernon River Days Festival. Registration and event check in are located at the Posey County Courthouse, 300 Main Street, Mount Vernon, IN 47620.
Available distances and youth categories:
- 5K Run/Walk : 3.12 miles.
- Mile Kids Run/Walk : 1 mile, ages 5 to 10.
- Little Kids Run : for children 5 and under.
Registration and fees vary by event. For the 5K and the Mile Kids run registration opens June 8, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026; the Little Kids Run registration opens July 16, 2026 and closes September 10, 2026. The registration fee for the 5K is $25, for the Mile Kids event $10, and the Little Kids Run has no fee. Participants who register before August 14 will receive a T-shirt.
