Reindeer Run 5k and Kids Fun Run
The Reindeer Run is a holiday themed athletic event held at the Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. This event takes place rain or shine and features a multi-surface course that provides views of the local vineyards and the Vintner Wonderland Festival Grounds.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km
- 1 mile (Kids Fun Run)
The 5 km route is an out-and-back course that starts at the winery and proceeds toward Egg Harbor City Lake. The terrain is primarily flat and composed of packed dirt roads through wooded areas, with minimal paved sections. In the event of inclement weather or unfavorable course conditions, an alternate flat route along Bremen Avenue is utilized, which also consists of mixed terrain including packed dirt and road surfaces.
The 1 mile Kids Fun Run is specifically designated for participants aged 5 through 12. All participants receive an event t-shirt while supplies last. The event is chip timed, allowing for the delivery of instant results.
Awards are presented to the top two overall male and female finishers, who receive medals and gift cards to the venue. Medal awards are also provided to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories ranging from 1-14 to 60 and over.
