Event Details
The Reindeer Run 5k is a holiday-themed running event held at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City on Saturday, December 19, 2026. It is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Two events are offered:
- 5K Run, open to participants aged 12 and over.
- Kids Fun Run, for participants aged 5 to 12.
The 5K Run is chip-timed with instant results. The Kids Fun Run is a shorter, non-competitive run for children. Pre-race registration opens on race day at 8:45 AM.
Registration
The 5K Run is priced at $30, and the Kids Fun Run is $20. These rates are available until 6:00 PM on December 18, 2026. Registration after that time and on race day increases to $35 for the 5K and $25 for the Kids Fun Run. Pre-registered participants receive a "Reindeer Run at Renault" t-shirt, available while supplies last on race day.
Course Information
The main 5K course is a flat and multi-surface out-and-back route starting at Renault Winery and going to Egg Harbor City Lake and back. It primarily follows packed dirt roads through wooded areas, with minimal pavement sections, offering views of the winery's vineyards and the Vintner Wonderland festival grounds. If weather requires, an alternate flat 5K course along Bremen Avenue on mixed packed dirt and road surfaces will be used.
Amenities and Awards
The event includes pre-race and post-race music and festivities. Awards are given to the top two overall male and female finishers in the 5K, who receive a $25 gift card to Renault Winery and a medal.
