Redemption Race
The Redemption Race is scheduled for January 1, 2027 at Westside Park, 1660 Johnson Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The event centers on personal resilience and beginning the year by showing up for oneself.
Event options:
- 5K Run/Walk in person, includes T-shirt and finisher medal
- 5K Virtual Run, shirt and medal mailed to participants
The event welcomes participants at any pace and any fitness level. The in-person 5K is chip timed to provide a baseline or record a personal best. Registration opens September 18, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026; the registration fee for listed events is $25.00.
Registered participants may join a free 21-Day Show-Up Challenge before race day. The challenge provides a Show-Up and Accountability Tracker, weekly encouragement, simple prompts to support consistency, access to the Redemption community, and peer support for building a habit of regular movement.
The venue offers parking and a scenic route within Westside Park. Race day programming includes music, a community atmosphere, event gear for participants, and a finisher medal for 5K participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
