The Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Houston takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The event is hosted by Bigfoot Running Company and will be held at the University of Houston. It features several race distances.

Participant Information
All finishers receive a race medal and an event T-shirt. The Kids Dash includes a special recognition pin. The event uses chip timing for the 4 Mile, 8 Mile, and Half Marathon distances, while the 2 Mile and Kids Dash are not chip-timed.
Packet pickup is offered for 1.5 hours before the event start on race day. Additional pickups may be scheduled and communicated via email.
Awards
For the 4 Mile, 8 Mile, and Half Marathon distances, awards include a Bigfoot trophy for the first overall male and female finishers, a special recognition pin for the first overall Masters (age 40+) male and female, and gold, silver, and bronze award pins for the top three finishers in each standard age group.
Event Details
Snacks and bottled water are provided at the finish line. There are multiple aid stations on the course. A DJ provides music and announces runners at a race rally tent. Awards are announced live and results are available immediately after finishing.
The course may include paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Volunteer Opportunities
Various volunteer roles are available, such as water station attendant, course monitor, finish line helper, and mascot. Volunteers receive a race shirt and a choice of a free future race entry or a digital gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
